Found the recipe on your feed? Screenshot it. Now it’s yours.

Reels are a great place to find dinner and a terrible place to readit — the recipe is buried in a caption, a comment, or thirty seconds of fast cuts. Take a screenshot and Pantry Pals reads out the actual ingredients. From there it’s a real recipe: drop it onto this week’s plan, and whatever your pantry is missing lands on the grocery list by itself.

Whole-household

One shared plan, pantry, and list for everyone under your roof. Whoever's at the store has the latest.

Not sure how? Here’s how to put it on your phone — iPhone and Android, with pictures.

Why this exists

I kept buying rice I already had.

Three bags of it, in a cupboard I'd walked past that morning. Pantry Pals is the thing I wanted instead: it remembers what's home, so the list only ever has what isn't.

— Daniel, who has enough rice

No ads, no data selling, no lock-in.

Pantry Pals is paid for by the people who use it, which means it has no reason to sell your family’s shopping habits to anyone or to bury your dinner under a banner.

Straight answers

The questions everyone asks.

Including the awkward ones. If something isn’t answered here, it probably should be — tell us.

Why isn't Pantry Pals in the App Store?
Because you don't need it to be. Pantry Pals installs straight from your browser in two taps and then behaves like any other app on your phone — its own icon, full screen, no browser bars. Nothing to download, nothing to update, and it works the same on iPhone and Android. See how to install it on your phone.
What happens when the 30 days are up?
We ask you to subscribe — $4.99 a month or $39 a year for your whole household. Nothing is deleted and nothing is charged automatically, because we never took a card to begin with. If you decide it isn't for you, just walk away; there's nothing to cancel.
Does it work without signal?
Your grocery list stays readable offline, which is the moment that matters — the dead-zone aisle at the back of the shop. Ticking items off needs a connection so that everyone in the household sees the same list, so the offline mode is read-only for now.
Can my household share one plan?
Yes, and that's the point. One plan, one pantry and one grocery list for everyone under your roof, on one subscription — there are no per-person seats. Whoever is standing in the shop has the latest list, and check-offs show up for everyone.
Why pay, when other meal planners are free?
Free apps are paid for somehow — usually with ads between you and your dinner, or by selling what your family eats to someone who wants to advertise at you. We'd rather you just paid us. In exchange you get no ads, no data sold, a real shared household, and a list that actually knows what's already in your cupboard.
How hard is it to cancel?
Two taps in household settings, no email to write and nobody to talk out of it. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Calmer weeknights start with one planned week.

Plan a few dinners, tell us what’s in the cupboard, and watch the list do itself.
